My four main web sites were "Hacked" about three months ago. The attack was so severe that four banks were almost crippled!

The upshot was that my service providers had to dump my scripts and databases, they couldn't allow back-ups because the nasty scripts would have been reinstalled. I lost 6 years of content on all my sites.

This, NEW, site is based upon a 2004 backup of the original static site. Many features, resources and vital content are not available - yet. It will take a good while to completely re-do the site - PLEASE BE PATIENT!

There will be MORE on this site and the "Look" will change to the original format when I can adjust the style sheets.

Since before 2002 the Rathlin Island web site has cost over £22,000 to research, develop and upkeep. It started as a selfish task to find my own Rathlin ancestors but "Took Legs" and became the most comprehensive online resource for all of Ireland.

I don't have the time or money to throw at this site that I did before. Allll my sites will remain free.but you may see a "Donations" link since I simply can't afford to replicate all the searches I've done. THIS WILL BE VOLUNTARY.
